Recently, the NCSSFL Bylaws Committee was convened to address a perceived lack of clarity in the Members section (Article III) of the NCSSFL bylaws.

Rationale: In 2016, NCSSFL members voted on bylaws revisions that created a de facto retired associate member category for regular associate members who retired but wished to remain active in the organization. During the two years since then, it has become apparent that this language is not as well-organized as it could be nor is it sufficiently clear to our members and the executive board. The proposed revisions seek to better organize and clarify the information in this section. Note:

View the Members section (Article III) of the NCSSFL bylaws with all proposed changes in red ink with yellow highlighting.

Per the requirement of our bylaws, these proposed revisions will be available for consideration by the membership for a period of 30 days. At the end of the 30-day period, members will be given an opportunity to vote electronically on the revisions using the members-only polling feature on this website.

Per the NCSSFL bylaws, regular SEA members and retired SEA members are permitted to vote. Regular associate and retired associates members are not permitted to vote.

Voting will open 30 days after this posting.
